dir : Luciano bibiloni

Born in La Plata, Argentina, Luciano Bibiloni qualifies as a singer, composer, choir director and orchestra conductor. From the age of 8, he studied piano, singing, violin and viola. While still practising these instruments, he undertook composition and choral and orchestral conducting, first at La Plata National University, then in Barcelona. He then perfected his skills in Paris, notably at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique.

Since his arrival in France, Luciano has made a name for himself in the world of choral and orchestral music. He has given numerous performances as a tenor soloist and has had a series of conducting experiences with high level vocal ensembles in Paris, as well as with orchestral ensembles such as the Sinfonietta de Paris, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg and the Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg. He is also the artistic director of orchestral ensembles such as the Orchestre du Rhin and the Orchestre du Festival en Pays d’Alsace.

Before taking over the direction of the Petits Chanteurs de Strasbourg – Maîtrise de l’Opéra national du Rhin in 2013, Luciano worked as the musical and artistic director of the Maîtrise de la Cathédrale Saint-Etienne de Toulouse. He also headed the Maîtrise de Garçons de Colmar from 2017 to 2019.
In 2021, Luciano was appointed to the rank of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Luciano’s fascination with the empowering dynamics of participatory artistic projects encouraged him to create the «A vos marques, prêts… Chantez !» project in 2016. This project has brought together professionals of the highest level and diverse audiences of singers, both junior and senior, mixing beginners with advanced amateurs. The uniqueness of this multi-faceted conductor lies in his desire to share unique musical experiences, bringing together professional musicians and amateur singers of all ages through an innovative and participatory pedagogy, in order to make classical music accessible to as many people as possible, while guaranteeing the musical quality of the undertaken projects.
